ITEN Ambassadors serve as representatives for the ministry within various contexts. Under the supervision of the ITEN leadership, Ambassadors are chosen to present ITEN at presbytery meetings, conferences, and special gatherings where they distribute literature, answer questions, share updates from the field and foster an awareness of ITEN’s mission, vision and values. ITEN Ambassadors make an annual commitment to their role. Contact us to find out more.

Short-term teaching opportunities consist of traveling abroad for 1 to 2 weeks or more and offering classroom instruction with the assistance of a translator, if needed. Instructors are chosen based on their academic credentials, area(s) of expertise and ability to raise support to cover their expenses. While these opportunities are not offered consistently, temporary needs do occasionally arise.

In most instances those selected for long term service will have proper academic credentials, fluency or learn fluency in a foreign language, experience in teaching overseas, and the ability to raise their own support.
