ENGAGE 2025: CHURCH PLANTING TEAMS IN THE MUSLIM WORLD
Project ID: WO-434

Goal: $30,000

The goal of Engage 2025 is for each EPC presbytery to engage with a Muslim people group that currently has no churches, and send a team of disciple-makers to them by the year 2025. Finances from this project will be used for the development of these teams within presbyteries; research; and training, coaching, and care for team members.

MUSLIM MINISTRIES IN THE UNITED STATES
Project ID: WO-450

Goal: $15,000

Muslim refugees, immigrants, and international students (some representing unreached people groups that our Engage 2025 initiatives are focused on) are now our neighbors. This fund will be used to train and support EPC congregations reaching their Muslim neighbors with the good news of Jesus Christ.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AS MISSION
Project ID: WO-459

Goal: $30,000

Committed Jesus-followers who start profit-making businesses (which provide employment and services to their communities) and who make disciples are powerful agents for gospel transformation where the church does not exist. As World Outreach’s IBAM Coordinator continues his work, funds from this account will be used to develop IBAM services for WO IBAM practitioners.

ITEN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Project ID: WO-490

Goal: $20,000

EPC World Outreach’s ITEN (International Theological Education Network) trains leaders globally to help them train and send their own missionaries to unreached people groups, especially among Muslims. These funds will be used primarily to teach and train national partners (with a smaller portion being used to train stateside teachers how to become effective trainers of nationals). ITEN’s careful support of influential teacher-leaders, along with our supply of effective materials in native languages, makes a huge positive impact without corrupting motives, creating dependency, or diminishing self-support.

MEDICAL MINISTRIES
Project ID: WO-454

Goal: $10,000

This fund will be used to promote and resource medical ministries from our churches and presbyteries to assist the ministry of EPC global workers and partner agencies. Medical teams have often opened communities to be receptive to the gospel. Some of our churches already have significant experience in executing successful medical ministry teams. Many of our churches have gifted and experienced medical personnel among their membership who have time available for short-term overseas involvement.

LEBANON — PHILEMON PRESCHOOL PROJECT
Project ID: WO-458

Goal: $75,000

The Philemon Project’s GROW Early Childhood Development Center offers the best possible Christian early childhood development and adult mentoring program to underserved Lebanese, migrant, and Syrian refugee children and their families.  Our program is whole-family focused, and we are invested in developing the whole child for a whole life. We accomplish this through our excellent preschool, while coaching parents through our adult mentoring program, which includes support classes and group sessions on health and nutrition, as well as parenting skills. Our focus on spiritual development and parental involvement demonstrate proven missiological results, while our focus on cognitive and social development help to shape the whole child and family.  Our current strategy and vision include replicating the Philemon Project’s GROW Early Childhood Development and adult mentoring ministry throughout Lebanon and possibly Syria. .

SIERRA LEONE — SCHOOLS AND PRESBYTERY
Project ID: WO-489

Goal: $5,000

An initiative of the Presbytery of the Alleghenies to this poverty-stricken West African nation has launched schools, which have birthed churches, which have planted more churches. These funds will be used to support the ministry of the schools, as well as to assist national church planters.

SE ASIA — COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CHURCH PLANT
Project ID: WO-461

Goal: $50,000

Our church-planting team, sent out by the Presbytery of the West, has launched a mariculture project in Southeast Asia. This project is based around building and running a large-scale marine hatchery, and provides a clear identity for church planters on the team, abundant natural contact with locals, and economic development for the local community.
